Construction work has started on the extension and adaption of this semi-detached house in Stoke Newington, London.
The house was designed by Henley Halebrown Rorrison and built in 2005. In 2019, the owner approached Whittaker Parsons to create a new rooftop master-bedroom suite and convert the second floor into a media studio.
The extension is constructed of timber structural panels and cellulose insulation, internally lined with larch panelling, and lime render to minimize its carbon footprint.
Building work is due to complete in June 2022.
